AUSY Project Services focuses on total projects for the client. From our delivery centres we set to work to shape the entire project and bring it to a successful conclusion with our own team. In Belgium, we want to further develop the expertise domain of engineering and this specifically within embedded software. That is why we are looking for a Project Manager who wants to get stuck in. As Project Manager Automation within our Engineering department you will have a challenging & dynamic work package. You will be responsible for the Automation projects from A to Z within Benelux collaborating in an international context and within our local team. You will get the opportunity to build up a portfolio and organisation together with the Business Director of Engineering. Technical & Commercial Expert You will handle incoming leads in collaboration with Account Managers, Business Developers and your Business Director. You will prospect and connect with possible new clients to create or extend your network. You will define the needs of the client and translate these to a technical proposal. You will be the owner of the governance model and be responsible to setup a planning, budget and the necessary risk analysis. Through the delivery process you will be the contact point of the client. You will be responsible for finalizing the project following the technical requirements within scope and budget. As Project manager You will be responsible for the proper execution of the projects. You will manage and control your project team within multidisciplinary projects using external subcontractors and/or vendors. You have a first experience with the most common industry standard Project Management methodologies. Ideally, you already have project manager experience. If you don’t but are willing to invest in this, perfect! You will sit together with the client on a very regular basis and make adjustments where necessary during project follow ups and steering meetings. You regularly report on the current state of business and ongoing processes to your Business Director during Project Reviews and weekly touch points. KPI's that you will monitor: project margin improvement, cash flow management, risk management, change order, project deliverables and client satisfaction. - You have a Master or PhD degree in Engineering: Electrical Engineering (Automation), Electromechanical Engineering (Control Engineering and Automation), Machine and Production Automation Engineering Technology. - As a real team player, you also easily establish contacts internally in the organization. Your positive personality and passion are contagious to all colleagues. Your innate communication skills ensure a positive management of the team and the development of a strong network with the different stakeholders. - You have strong analytical skills, and you think proactively, systematically and solution-oriented. - You are eager to learn and stress resistant. - You are communicatively strong and you can convince, advise and motivate. Because of the international context, knowledge of languages is important. You speak and write fluent English and this in combination with a very good knowledge of French. - The world of “Automation” doesn't have any secrets or you want to deepdive in it. You have a thorough understanding of instrumentation & automation. You understand P&ID's and are able to translate it to an automation system and you have knowledge PLC Siemens S5, S7, TIA Portal, Beckhoff, TwinCAT, SCADA PCS7, WinCC, OPC UA, Osi Pi Osisoft, … You are able to write an URS and IQ, OQ or PQ protocols You support the team with commissioning focus on automation aspects.You can independently support or supervise a FAT and SAT (Factory Acceptance Test, Site Acceptance Test ) Client skills ; You persuade clients about what AUSY can offer thanks to your technical expertise. You can propose and defend automation projects to the clients organization and others Ideally, you already have commercial experience.
